The House

The approach to Itchenor village is redolent of a bygone age when a weekend in the country was an experience to be enjoyed. The driveway at Oldfield House has easy access from the Street and can accommodate up to eight cars on the gravel with space for a boat trailer too.

Main Reception room

A large sitting room is at the heart of the house with a large comfortable sofa and chairs, providing seating to relax in front of the tv or to chat in the warmth of the wood burning stove.  Large glass doors on two sides provide light and views of the garden.

The Conservatory

The conservatory provides a large table and seating for twelve, making it a perfect breakfast space or informal dining room in the summer. Alternatively this room makes a good pre-dinner drinks reception area before heading into the dining room.

The Dining room

A large separate dining room with a feature fireplace and polished oak floor. The oak table seats up to fourteen people. It makes a perfect setting for a celebratory meal or a family reunion.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped offering the latest appliances: American-style fridge freezer with plumbed-in ice maker and chilled water, a boiling water tap, dish washer, separate electric and gas ovens, separate electric and gas hobs, microwave and Sonos multi room linked sound system.

Adjoining the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The Study

The ground floor bedroom has twin single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a power shower

The Penthouse

This is a large loft space which has been converted to a media area with a television, DVD player, etc. There are two single beds each with a second single bed stored underneath if required.

Bedroom 1

This bedroom has twin single beds with a basin.

The second bedroom has a super king-sized bed & ensuite bathroom with twin basins and power shower.

The third bedroom has twin single beds with a basin. There is also a third full single pull out bed if requested.

The Patio

Opening out of the main reception room is a spacious patio area complete with summer table and chairs and a gas fired barbeque to take advantage of those long Sussex summer evenings.

The Garden

Apart from the main lawn there is a delightful secluded garden with a pond and shaded bench. This has been fenced off to deter young children from entering.

The Lawn

The main garden area is open and spacious with a well tended lawn. An ideal space where the summer country air can be enjoyed.
